2023 Indie-Con

Australia’s leading independent music conference, Indie-Con is happening again in Adelaide from 2nd-4th August, thanks to continued support from the South Australian Government’s Music Development Office. The three day conference programming includes international guest speakers, global music industry experts, label representatives, independent artists & journalists, and representatives from over 40 domestic and international companies.

2023 Conference topics include: Grant Funding Opportunities, Showcasing, Marketing, Protecting Copyrights in the AI Era, Fairplay for Pay, The Power of Community Radio, Fan Engagement, Green Is NOW, and more.

Indie-Con will be followed by MusicSA’s Scouted, an epic presentation that showcases the emerging and unsigned talent from South Australia’s Music Scene, which delegates are invited to attend. This year’s showcase will include 12 artists and bands across 3 different stages in Adelaide’s West End on Friday 4th August. See the 2023 Scouted lineup here.
 
AIR’s Indie-Con Australia Conference is held in conjunction with its annual invite-only AIR Awards, held on the 3rd of August.
